VerdaSee Location-ID™ is a family of solutions that allow users to track equipment and individuals inside hospitals, healthcare facilities, or industrial environments at all times using radio frequency technology. The target tracking areas are networked with a controller through a series of radio frequency identification (RFID) readers to provide full coverage of target areas. The readers detect signals beaconed from RFID tags placed on equipment or individuals. The readers communicate information to the computer server using VerdaSee Navigator TM software. The location of the asset and other vital information is then displayed on the customer computer.

VerdaSee Asset Location-ID™ product solutions were developed to assist in the tracking and tracing of customer assets. Facing greater scrutiny from regulators and their customers, healthcare organizations and industry are under tremendous pressure to improve efficiency without sacrificing patient care or customer service. To maximize use of existing capital equipment, minimize lost or stolen assets, and increase the productivity of their employees, organizations are seeking ways to quickly find and track their valuable assets and ensure those assets remain in the facility. That means that finding the motorized wheelchair, portable pacemaker, or other expensive equipment in a streamlined, decentralized model and ensuring that an asset or individual leaving the facility has the right to do so.

VerdaSee Patient Bracelet-ID™ provides a solution for instantaneously locating and alerting custodial personnel to elopement or unauthorized movement of patients or other individuals. At critical times this is used to find doctors, nurses, orderlies, or patients without delay. Security issues are a key concern. Certain patients, such as those under psychiatric care, Alzheimer's victims, patients with highly communicable diseases, patients under protective custody, or newborn babies require extra security measures to ensure their safety. VerdaSee's solution consists of a novel wristband bracelet that incorporates the RFID tag and integral circuit components. The wristband beacons information about patient location continuously and immediately. VerdaSee Navigator TM software notifies designated personnel immediately when the wristband bracelet is removed, severed, or otherwise tampered with.

VerdaSee Mobile Location-ID™ offers a lower cost "start-up" solution to facilitate asset tracking electronically. Using this economical solution, RFID tags are attached to all the assets that will be tracked. A service cart, or other portable device, is equipped with a reader, antenna, and a portable PC. The reader and antenna can be as small as 10" X 6". One person can wheel this cart around the facility, usually as part of normal daily tasks. As this person enters a target area, a unique code is entered into the PC identifying the area, or room. As the cart moves down the hall there is no need to go into the room, look for the asset, look for the identification number, or record the number. The tags on the assets in the area will be recorded in the PC using VerdaSee Navigator TM software. Once completed, the information on the PC can be uploaded to the system to individuals requiring the information.
